Gratitude Award

Eli got the Gratitude Award at Kindergarten this month. He is a very thankful little guy. A few weeks ago he was telling me he wanted a "real" four wheeler for Christmas. He got a big wheels four wheeler last year. I kept telling him that Santa wouldn't give him something he couldn't have. Since we don't have a place to store a "real" one. He replies back, " Mom, your right. I am thankful for four wheeler that I have."
I just love this little man :)

Happy Halloween 2011

I was very surprised when Eli said he wanted to be a vampire!
I thought for sure he would choose a super hero or something
. He got to dress up for school and he told me that a couple of his
friends were vampires to!
Yep, I think they planned it. It was fun for them.

The night of Halloween we went and visited Grandma Garna
and on the way home Eli got the stomach flu.
He was such a trooper. He rested for a hour and
then he was ready to go! Blade and Shae came over
and they ran the streets! It reminded me
so much of when I was little. Tons of kids everywhere!
Such a fun night!
Eli showing off the goods! I thought for sure he would be up
all night with a sugar high! Actually, the mom was.
She might of had a few snickers from the bag.....

Carving pumpkins

Casey came to visit Eli so he hung out with us and carved some pumpkins.
Eli was really excited to carve his pumpkin
. I think from year to year he forgets how gross it is
! He picked the biggest pumpkin he could find.

Gotta get a picture of the mom to prove she carved a pumpkin!

Fun Weekend

We took off to Salt Lake for the weekend for some much needed fun.
We went to the Mayan, Aquariam, Boondocks and then went to
Wheeler's Farm. These are the only pictures I got the whole
weekend. Eli had to get a picture by the ducks
and geese to show Grandma Deb.

Labor Day Weekend Camping

We went camping up Huntington Canyon for the Butler Reunion this year.
It was a lot of fun. We had a rodeo on the mountain. The kids had a blast.
Blade and Eli in the hut that all the boys built.

1st Day of Kindergarten!

Eli didn't know what to think about his first day of school. He said he was excited but I could tell he was a little scared to go. We met his teacher a few days before the first day and that really helped get him excited.
On the first day, I walked him into his classroom and I just wanted to cry. I can not believe that he is old enough for kindergarten. The teacher handed me a poem to read. So I took a picture of Eli in his new classroom and walked away. Oh boy, this was a embarrassing day. As I was walking out of the classroom I started to read the poem the teacher had given to me. It said something like, she will take care of him as if he was her own and parents may cry on the first day. WOW! I bawled. That was a long block and a half to my car trying not
to look at any other parent.
But I am happy to report that by the end of the day he had a BLAST and mom survived!

6th Birthday Party!

I say it every year, but I can't believe my little guy is 6!
Eli has changed so much in the last couple years. He is no
longer my shy little guy. He has such a fun little
personality. He makes me laugh every day.
He is really enjoying Grandma Deb's animals and
doing "farm work" with his dad at Grandma
and Grandpa Christensen's.
He has made some fun neighborhood
friends that he likes to ride bikes with.

We went bowling for his birthday and had a fun little
party at Grandma Deb's house. He was one hyper kid
all day long for his birthday. He had a very fun day.

{Pet Day}

It was pet day at Eli's daycare. Our little swimming frogs at home just
didn't make the cut. He was so excited when
Grandma Deb said he could bring some ducks and chickens.

The kids loved the ducks aka
Quacker
& Cheese

July 24th Weekend

We had a fun July 24th weekend. We went to Spanish Fork to
play with some cousins. We went to the huge "new & improved"
Spanish Fork Parade. It was fun. Eli had a great time
playing with his cousins.

Do ya think the pool is a little dirty?

MOM!! I lost my tooth!!!

Eli lost his first tooth! This was a pretty exciting
thing at our house. He was so excited to see
if the tooth fairy would come. And of course he did!
Eli now thinks he should start pulling more
teeth to make more money. To me is was just
a big sign that this little man is growing up.

Goats/ July 4th fun

We spend the 4th of July weekend in Spanish Fork.
Eli had such a fun time hanging
out with cousins. We went to a baby blessing
and baptism. We also visited a friends farm in Payson.
Grandma Deb bought some fainting goats. Eli was
in heaven! He loved all the animals. He wanted
to take all of them home. Lucky for him his
Grandma bought a couple goats. We went
to the Living Plant Aquarium in Salt Lake
and Eli loved seeing all the sea creatures.
I took some pictures of him touching the
sting rays but they didn't turn out. Such a fun weekend!

Baseball 2010 aka Coach Pitch

Eli learned so much this year in baseball.
He was in coach pitch this year.
That was a big deal in his book. I was not allowed to
call it T-ball anymore. He is so funny. He was so proud to be
moving up in baseball. So he thought anyway!
This year he was on a team with one of his really good
friends from school. It was really funny to watch them.
They were on the same team and would fight over who
was catching the ball.

Summer :)

Rory, Abrielle, & Chuck came to visit for the weekend.
The kids had a blast running in the sprinklers all weekend.
