First Snow!

We thought for sure the "Blizzard of 2010" would bring
us more snow. We were highly disappointed!
Thanksgiving weekend we finally got a tiny amount of snow.

Eli had to go outside and have a little snow treat!

Since there wasn't much snow in the
driveway, he decided to shovel the grass!
I don't know why I found this so
amusing, but he shoveled the grass for hours!

Butler Christmas Party 2010

Since the Butler family was all in town we
had our Christmas
party two days after Thanksgiving.

The kids had so much fun making gingerbread houses.
Again, we had like 80 people crammed into a house.
They had to set up tables in the garage to fit everyone.

The finished product!

The kids patiently waiting for Santa to arrive.....

and here he is! The kids were so excited!

Eli was so excited to see Santa. For the week before the
party, he had been making his list to give to Santa.
When we got to the party he was so upset that he
forgot the LIST!! I told him it's okay, that we would
mail the list to Santa, and to just tell him everything
he wanted. He said he couldn't remember everything
on the list. You could see him thinking really hard to
remember everything on his list. When it was his turn
to sit on Santas lap, he was so nervous. I thought
he was gonna throw up or something!

This is the face! He makes this face everything he
gets nervous! I sure wish he could stay this age forever.
I love seeing how excited he gets to see Santa.
Grandma Butler and Santa! I guess the nervousness
goes away as you get older! She doesn't look so nervous!

Thanksgiving 2010

We had a fun Thanksgiving with the huge Butler family.
The kids had a lot of fun playing while we were cooking.

Happy Halloween 2010

Eli had so much fun carving pumpkins. He carved three!

We went and visited with Grandma Garna
on Halloween night. She is always so
excited to see the kids all dressed up.

Shaelee had her birthday party in our back yard. The kids had so much fun.
